Puñay Trekking Open Tour $70 per person

This is a two day trek, located in the south of Riobamba, The pyramid was built on top of an ancient volcanoe, aging 4500 years it is probably the oldest pyramid in America, as well as the only pyramid build above 3000 meters.

Because the pyramid was rediscovered only very recently and is not yet listed in any guidebook we normally have the archeological site all to ourselves to explore.

This comming Monday we have a special offer for Cuyabeno, a 4 day jungle expedition for $190 you save $20 from the original price,and if you have a group of friends (5 people) we`ll  make an extra discount for $180 per person.

Cuyabeno is a region of the Amazon near the border of Colombia only accessible by small boat. Here visitors stay in comfortable wooden eco-lodges and spend the day exploring the rainforest with indigenous guides. We work directly with the indigenous community in the area who have grown up in the Amazon and know more about it than foreign guides from Quito.

This tour includes :

* Transport by car to Cuyabeno reserve entrance and back
* Transport by boat to campsite and back
* All meals during the trip
* Intercultural exchange with the local Siona people

The biodiversity in this reserve is unique due to the geographic and warm climate conditions during the Pleistocene era which made Yasuní became a hotspot of biodiversity and animal migration, greatly contributed to the propagation of the rest of the Amazon Basin, and is one of the few places on the planet distinguished as a Pleistocene Refuge Area — an area in which numerous species survived extinction during periods of dramatic climate change.

Saddle up and ride around the rugged and rocky lunar landscapes of the Ecuadorian Andes in the shadow of the 6310meter extinct volcano Chimborazo. On your journey you will pass remote mountain villages until you reach Salinas, a picturesque pueblo with colourful houses and cobblestone streets world famous for its cheese and chocolate. On day two we ride past more indigenous villages far off the beaten track until we arrive at the Aguas Termales where you can rest your sore muscles in the hot springs.
